Notes: For your consideration is an incredible opportunity to own a very rare Heuer and be part of an exclusive group of screw-back Autavia owners. If you have ever tried on a 2446 screw-back case then you know its one of the best cases Heuer has ever made in style, shape and wearability. The 3rd execution was made famous by Formula 1 German race car driver Jochen Rindt. This example is an early case with a clear and visible serial number that fits perfectly in the range of the 3rd execution Rindt references. The dial has some light wear but is still a beautiful reverse panda, triple register with original hands to match. Rare to have its original un-signed crown used only for early screw-back cases. The case is one of the thickest I have ever seen with strong well pronounced factory chamfers lines. Hard to argue the 12hr bezel is the most balanced for this reference being perfectly symmetrical with the 3 register dial. Here is a rare opportunity to own a vintage classic some collectors call a Heuer grail.
